Of course, in typical Garbage fashion, there's a grungy, gothic beauty to these post-punk-meets-pop songs...there just so happens to be moments to recognize the beauty and fragility of the human experience, moments where hope doesn't seem naive, but instead seems like the most badass thing you can pursue. With nuanced lyrics and addictive melodies, Let All That We Imagine Be the Light is absolutely brilliant.
