Chicha Libre plays a mixture of Latin rhythms, surf music, and psychedelic pop inspired by Peruvian music from the Amazon. Elvin Bishop has been singing and recording his rollicking brand of electrified down-home blues for almost 40 years. Bishop's history-making tenure as a founding member of the Paul Butterfield Blues Band in the '60s, his chart-topping hits in the'70s, and his emergence on Alligator Records in the late '80s place him at the forefront of electric blues guitarists. Join the legend in celebration of the release of his new album The Blues Rolls On at Amoeba Music!!
