Clem Burke is an American drummer and member of iconic new wave punk band Blondie. Burke was recruited by Debbie Harry and Chris Stein when they were forming Blondie and he played drums exclusively on all Blondie recordings including their massive worldwide hits "Call Me," "The Tide is High," "Heart of Glass," and "Rapture." In addition to Blondie, Burke has recorded and performed with Pete Townshend, Bob Dylan, Joan Jett, The Ramones, The Romantics, Iggy Pop, Brian Wilson, and the Eurythmics. In 2006, Burke was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Blondie.
