Jeordie White (aka Twiggy) is a bassist, guitarist, and songwriter who has played with Marilyn Manson, A Perfect Circle, Nine Inch Nails, and Goon Moon. White started playing guitar at 13 and joined his first band at 15. While working at a record store in Florida, he met Marilyn Manson and they collaborated together on various side projects until White officially joined Marilyn Manson in 1993 as a bassist. After joining the band, White took the name "Twiggy Ramirez" - an homage to the 1960's British supermodel Twiggy and the serial killer Richard Ramirez - later dropping Ramirez and simply being known as Twiggy.
After leaving Marilyn Manson in 2002, White collaborated with Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age, Them Crooked Vultures) on his Desert Sessions series. He then joined A Perfect Circle as their bassist until the band's indefinite hiatus at the end of 2004. From 2005-2007, White toured with Nine Inch Nails as a guitarist and bassist, having worked with Trent Reznor in New Orleans during the recording session for Marilyn Manson's Antichrist Superstar (Interscope, 1996). White also formed his own band, Goon Moon, with Chris Goss, a long-time Queens of the Stone Age collaborator. Goon Moon released two albums, I Got A Brand New Egg Layin' Machine EP (Suicide Squeeze Records, 2005) and Licker's Last Leg (Ipecac, Recordings, 2007).
White rejoined Marilyn Manson in January 2008 as lead songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. The band released The High End of Low (Nothing) in 2009 and are currently working on a new album.
