A River Running To Your Heart (LP)
Fruit Bats
Amoeba Review
A River Running to Your Heart is the latest album from Fruit Bats and the first to produced by main bat Eric D. Johnson. The album finds Johnson at the height of his powers, creating down-home indie folk that feels evocative and emotional. Johnson himself has referred to the songs as being emblematic of "the geography of the heart," and that's exactly what these songs feel like: vulnerable, authentic, introspective, and beautiful. A River Running to Your Heart is moving and mesmerizing.
