Of course, the good people over at Sacred Bones put this one out just in time for Halloween, which is fitting because the album features tracks from Halloween and its sequels, plus Escape From New York, Big Trouble in Little China, The Thing, They Live, Assault on Precinct 13, Prince of Darkness, The Fog, and more. Newly re-recorded with John Carpenter, and his musical collaborators Daniel Davies and Cody Carpenter, these iconic, icy synth tracks are guaranteed to bring a dark luster to any occasion. This moody and magnificent collection reminds us yet again why Carpenter is one of the most legendary directors and film composers of all time.
