The second installment of the intended AOI Trilogy didn't make as big of a mark as the previous album (AOI:Mosaic Thump), but is a hidden gem in De La's discography. Released in early December of 2001, Bionix got a bit lost in the wake of 9/11, and their record label folding shortly after its release, despite the album's critical acclaim. This reissue is essential for any De La Soul fan.
