Bloodline Maintenance (LP)
Ben Harper
Amoeba Review
Ben Harper is back with an album inspired in part by the death of his longtime bassist & friend Juan Nelson and the lingering impact of his father. Disconnecting from his band, the Innocent Criminals, Harper handles all instrumentation and vocals for a truly solo effort. The result is an album of contemporary songs wrapped up in layers of rock, blues, and smooth ‘70s R&B.
