Boygenius owes its talents to its formidable indie rock singer/songwriter line-up: Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers and Lucy Dacus. Their self-titled EP offers a wealth of beautiful harmonies: for example on the lush opener “Bite The Hand,” which blends fuzzy guitar with folky intimacy. “Me & My Dog” leans more towards Bridgers' bedroom folk while “Salt In The Wound” draws the three in together with its emotional urgency. Dacus's and Bridgers' stylings are perfectly buoyed by Baker's strong guitar lines in this flawless collaboration.
