But I'll Wait For You (LP)
Local Natives
Amoeba Review
Local Natives follow up 2023's Time Will Wait For No One with this new companion album, But I'll Wait For You. The last album before the departure of co-lead vocalist and founding member Kelcey Ayer, it offers characteristically poignant, melodic tracks like "Alpharetta." "April" builds on that vibe with a little psych-funk and some slinky dancefloor grooves. "Neon Memory" and "Camera Shy" stand out for their livelier beats, interesting melodies, and gentle dynamics.
