Hear the softer side of Fontaines D.C. frontman Grian Chatten on his new solo album, Chaos for the Fly. The melancholic, sometimes hypnotic output of Chatten's critically-acclaimed post-punk band feels like a through the looking glass version of these lyrical, sweeping, romantic songs. "Last Time Every Time Forever" opens with a languid beat before a vague air of menace sets in...and when the female vocals and ethereal flourishes appear, it's enough to make your head spin. "Fairies" is another bittersweet, gorgeous heartbreaker, with incredible imagery and lovely melodies. Chaos for the Fly is top-notch.
