CRASH [Indie Exclusive Gray Vinyl] (LP) [Explicit]
Charli XCX
Amoeba Review
True to its name, Charli XCX’s CRASH feels imbued with an unstoppable force. The songs are ‘80s inspired ultra-glossy pop with a dark undercurrent that’s irresistibly fun, sexy, and dangerous. An already powerful performer on her own, Charli has a knack for collaborating with artists who up the ante and this latest album is no different; Christine and the Queens, Caroline Polachek, Rina Sawayama, and Oneohtrix Point Never all contribute to the vibe. Intense and invigorating, CRASH is one of the most exciting pop albums in recent memory.
