Topanga Canyon-based singer-songwriter Jonathan Wilson soaked up some Nashville inspiration for his new Americana album, Dixie Blur. The North Carolina native temporarily left his West Coast home to join Wilco member Pat Sansone (as a co-producer) at the fabled Sound Emporium Studio to add some genuine southern charm to this latest batch of songs. The stellar group of session musicians that were assembled for the proceedings help these hook-filled songs to soar, making for a more intimate listening experience that not even Wilson could have anticipated.
