Dreamers Are Waiting (LP)
Crowded House
Amoeba Review
It has been over a decade since the last Crowded House album and now the band is back with the delightful Dreamers Are Waiting. “To the Island” is catchy and dreamy—ideal summer fare. “Playing with Fire” is moody, dark, and enthralling; it’s an immediately likable track that stands among the band’s best. For years, Neil Finn and co. have been writing some of the finest indie tracks around and their latest album should place them comfortably in front of a a new, adoring audience. They deserve it.
