Ease The Work (LP)
Hour
Amoeba Review
Hour's Ease the Work is cinematic, contemporary instrumental music with a nostalgic nod to classic film themes and old school crooners like Scott Walker and Frank Sinatra. Recorded at a remote, old theatre on an island in Maine, Hour's composer/multi-instrumentalist/producer Michael Cormier-O'Leary finagled nine other musicians plus a ton of gear onto a ferry for a week's worth of recording sessions. It's no wonder, then, that the songs sound so sweeping and sweet, imbued with the beauty and wonder of this special place. Ease the Work will ease your mind: relax and melt into the worlds created by the talented musicians of Hour.
