Every Moment, Everything You Need (CD)
Deserta
Amoeba Review
Deserta’s Every Moment, Everything You Need is classic shoegaze with a fresh, contemporary feel. Amid the swirling guitars, insistent drums, and haunting vocals, there’s an urgency and immediacy that draws the listener in even deeper. Mice Parade's Caroline Lufkin provides guest vocals on the delicously melancholy, spaced out “Where Did You Go.” Chris Coady (Beach House, Blonde Redhead) handles engineering and production. Deserta’s Matthew Doty knows what he’s doing in crafting these gorgeous, hypnotic compositions. The atmosphere builds with each song until you’re completely immersed in the dream pop world of Deserta, a hazy, bittersweet sonic realm you’ll never want to leave.
