In honor of the Talking Heads' album's 40th anniversary, a range of artists from superstars to underground faves have teamed up for Everyone's Getting Involved: A Tribute to Talking Heads' Stop Making Sense. So many tribute albums feel dialed in and haphazard — not this one. Everyone's Getting Involved is pure fun, with some really incredible reinterpretations. Arguably the band's most famous song, covered by the comp's most famous artist, "Psycho Killer" gets a glam-pop remake by Miley Cyrus that's imaginative and addictive. Toro y Moi also succeeds in bringing their own glitched out twist to the beloved "Genius of Love," while The National add downbeat country-rock atmospherics to "Heaven." And that's just a sampling — there's much to discover and enjoy on this collection. Some of these covers might just become your new favorites.
