Foam (LP)
Divino Niño
Amoeba Review

Sweetly psychedelic Divino Nino's new album Foam is the perfect breezy summer release. The title track features a pseudo-bossanova beat and jangly guitar; “Maria” is a Spanish-language break-up song that manages to both wallow languidly in reverb and sparkle like an upbeat surf number. “Coca-Cola” is a bit edgier with pleasantly chugging guitar that calls to mind Blur's “Coffee and TV.” This is catchy indie pop with a Latin flavor, morphing the band members' Colombian heritage with American pop in fresh new ways.
