Fuzzybrain (LP)
Dayglow
Amoeba Review
The debut album by Dayglow AKA Sloan Struble is Fuzzybrain, a strong set of sparkling and, indeed, fuzzy indie pop, with infectious numbers like “Can I Call You Tonight?” and “Hot Rod.” Everything here is catchy and might just lure you into dancing, even if it’s simply swaying, in the case of the gentler title track. There are echoes of Phoenix here but without that band's slick polish, as well as a good dose of well-crafted bedroom pop.
