Frozen Soul brings fierce intensity to their latest, Glacial Domination. The Dallas, TX death metal band delivers purely brutal, sonically punishing riffs and percussion that'll envelop listeners in a dark, chilling gloom. Across the board, the songs are great, the aggressive assault never slowing for a second. "Annihilation," an ode to John Carpenter's Antarctic-set horror The Thing adds a nice touch, with icy, very Carpenter-esque icy synths before returning to the driving force of the more straightforwardly metal tracks.
