Halo Of Hurt [Milky Clear w/ Black Smoke Vinyl] (LP)
Seahaven
Amoeba Review
Seahaven's first new album since 2014 marks a revival for the band after a period of uncertainty about which direction to take next. The music reflects some of that self-doubt or the sense of being unmoored. "Harbor" and "Moon" are brooding and dark, highlighted by singer Kyle Soto's smooth, sincere vocals, and the melancholy "Bait" starts off gently before surging into an emo-tinged chorus. This is a strong set of songs that are sure to help you fight your inner demons.
