Ice Melt (LP)
Crumb
Amoeba Review
Dreamy indie rock group Crumb's new album Ice Melt delivers trip hop-tinged tracks with droney electronics and hypnotic beats. Singer Lila Ramani croons as if she's half-asleep, gently steering bass-heavy, downtempo tracks like "Trophy." "Balloon" is more lively with groovy synths and organ, and especially thanks to busy percussion that's almost suited for the dance floor. It's a stylish set that fans of Blonde Redhead would enjoy.
