Eyedress, the Nom d'artiste of Filipino musician Idris Ennolandy Vicuña returns with his third album, Let's Skip To the Wedding. His first album after relocating to Los Angeles features the TikTok hits "Romantic Lover" and the Joy-Division-inspired "Jealous." Eyedress layers jangly guitars and stream-of-consciousness lyrics, creating a fusion of brooding indie rock and moody bedroom synthpop. In a perfect balance, Let's Skip to the Wedding at times sounds polished and well-produced, and at others resembles a homemade demo recording.
