Light Asylum's 2012 self-titled LP is getting reissued on vinyl by the good people at DFA Records and Asheville, NC's Citizen Vinyl plant. That's fantastic news for everyone who slept on the wax the first time around and is now battling the devil on their shoulder who says, "Just pay the collectors' price! You need this record. Because this epic, heartfelt, delightfully dark album is one to be treasured, with an unstoppable mix of synth-punk, dance, industrial, and pop combined like only the inimitable Shannon Funchess can. This reissue should be your soundtrack for autumn, so wonderfully moody is it...but you might just keep it on your turntable well into the icy winter and for the months to come.
