 Glass Onion - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack 2XLP - Music by Nathan Johnson will be available as an extremely limited double LP from Mondo Records and Netflix – Hand numbered, clear PVC package, with vellum insert, and 2 clear vinyl records limited to 1,000 copies produced. This edition has never been for sale - and will never be sold anywhere else. Limited copies from the edition of 1,000 available only for this special event.

Nathan’s score nods to the manor mystery of Knives Out, but the sonic palette is both expanded and inverted with a new quartet joining brass and harpsichord to flesh out the romantic themes of an entirely new mystery.

Rian Johnson is an Academy Award® and Golden Globe®-nominated filmmaker, who is known for crafting films with their own artfully designed voice and look, and for telling unique stories that blend the pulp of genre with a genuine soulfulness.

He most recently wrote, directed and produced GLASS ONION: A KNIVES OUT MYSTERY, the much-anticipated follow up to the smash hit, Academy Award^®-nominated, murder mystery KNIVES OUT, scheduled for release in November. GLASS ONION sees the return of Daniel Craig as Detective “Benoit Blanc” and follows a new cast, including Edward Norton, Kathryn Hahn, Dave Bautista, Leslie Odom Jr., Kate Hudson and Janelle Monáe.

In television, Johnson is the creator and co-executive producer of Peacock’s upcoming mystery series POKER FACE. The crime of the week drama stars Natasha Lyonne with Johnson set to direct select episodes.   

In 2019, Johnson and producer Ram Bergman launched their production company, T-Street. The company’s film and television projects include KNIVES OUT, GLASS ONION, POKER FACE and an upcoming third follow up to the KNIVES OUT saga.  In 2021, the company partnered with MRC Films and formed a label supporting independent filmmakers and low-budget films.

Johnson’s previous films are the critically acclaimed LOOPER, THE BROTHERS BLOOM, BRICK and STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI.

Nathan Johnson is a multidisciplinary artist best known for his work as a film composer and director. His innovative music - which includes acclaimed scores for KNIVES OUT, NIGHTMARE ALLEY, LOOPER and BRICK, among others - and painstaking, hand-crafted music videos (Son Lux, Lucius) represent an unconventional approach to audio-visual storytelling rooted in a bold DIY aesthetic. His most recent work sees him re-teaming with writer/director Rian Johnson for the critically lauded Netflix film, GLASS ONION: A KNIVES OUT MYSTERY.

Nathan has given talks at universities around the world and has presented his work at the Hammer Museum, Adobe MAX, TED, and Apple.

He’s the recipient of numerous film and music awards and his work has been featured extensively by NPR, Wired, the AV Club, and Rolling Stone. He lives in Los Angeles with the help of his friends.
