Amoeba Music Hollywood is excited to host a special fan listening event for Ringo's upcoming Record Store Day EP, Crooked Boy (written and produced by Linda Perry and available only at independent record stores on 4/20 for RSD) AND offer fans the first chance to purchase a limited-edition Amoeba Exclusive 7" featuring two songs from the EP!

All attendees will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win Ringo Starr merchandise, a limited edition Beatles turntable Amoeba gift certificates, and 1 spot to be first in line on Record Store Day at Amoeba Hollywood to purchase Ringo's RSD EP release!

"Crooked Boy," which was written and produced by Linda Perry, will be available only at independent record stores on April 20 for #RSD24.

The Crooked Boy EP will be available on black-and-white marble vinyl exclusively at independent record stores on Record Store Day, April 20th, 2024. Only 2000 copies of the vinyl disc will be sold.

From Ringo Starr: “I’m really excited to be releasing an exclusive edition of my EP Crooked Boy for Record Store Day this year. I’ve always loved record stores from 81 Renshaw or Brian’s North End Music Store in Liverpool to Tower Records and Amoeba Music in [Los Angeles] and I support them with Peace and Love.”

Crooked Boy features four songs that were all written by Perry, who also produced the EP. EP track titles are “February Sky,” “Adeline,” “Gonna Need Someone,” and “Crooked Boy.” The Strokes guitarist Nick Valensi played on all four tracks, while Perry contributed guitar and backing vocals to some of the tunes.

The Amoeba Exclusive limited-edition 7" features the tracks "February Sky" and "Gonna Need Someone" pressed on red vinyl. The 7" will be available at Amoeba Music Hollywood for in-store purchase only, while they last. Limited to one copy per person.
