Join us as we welcome Discos Resaca Collective featuring Mariposas Del Alma & Deuce Eclipse to Amoeba SF on Saturday, June 8th at 2pm. They will be celebrating the new vinyl pressing of their out-of-print LP, Y Te Cuento, with a live set and signing!
The performance is free and all-ages are welcome. Purchase a copy of the new Y Te Cuento re-issue to attend the signing after their set.
Mariposas Del Alma grew up in a home with a musician father, and a lineage (Maternal Grandfather) that traces back to the days of the Trios all throughout Latin America. It was only natural that the sisters became the amazing vocalists they are today.
Discos Resaca Collective bring a lot of energy to the stage. Mixing traditional sounds with modern elements, they play anything from Rancheras, Cumbias, Soul to Salsa. They bring a level of authenticity and pride themselves at maintaining musical traditions.
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Deuce Eclipse, bilingual Emcee/Rapper and co-founder/vocalist of Bang Data, draws influence from his Nicaraguan heritage as well as the culture of Hip-Hop he grew up with in the United States. He has released a variety of albums and countless songs, some of which have been featured on many TV shows, commercials, and movies.
