Join us at Amoeba SF this Friday, November 8th at 5pm to celebrate the release of the Super Deluxe edition of Talking Heads: 1977, the seminal band's groundbreaking debut! The 3CD/1 Blu-ray box set & 4LP set from Rhino Records include the original album, outtakes, rarities, a previously unreleased recording of the band’s final show at CBGB’s in New York City on October 10th, 1977, plus an 80-page hardcover book with new liner notes written by Tina Weymouth, David Byrne, Chris Frantz, and Jerry Harrison. The book includes photos and images from the band's archive and photographers from the era. A 2LP expanded version of the original album will also be available.
