Amoeba is thrilled to host an exclusive event celebrating music from the award-winning Alan Wake game series.  Fans can meet the pioneering singer-songwriter and multimedia artist POE and the creative director Sam Lake at Amoeba Hollywood for a signing to celebrate the first retail availability of the 12" Limited Edition Vinyl release of the critically acclaimed extended mixes of the songs “This Road (AW)” and “6 Deep Breaths (AW)” as featured in Alan Wake 2.

Originally only available on www.officialpoe.com via RePoeZessed Records, the compositions have not been available to stream anywhere and the First Edition pressing of the 12" sold out immediately. Now fans can purchase the second limited edition 12” gatefold vinyl and get their copy signed by POE and Sam.

The highly-anticipated release of Alan Wake 2 (published by Epic Games Publishing) marked not only the return of the award winning game franchise but also signaled a long awaited resurgence of renowned singer-songwriter-producer POE. In a groundbreaking collaboration, game creator Sam Lake and POE joined forces to create a new music-in-game experience.

The creative alliance between POE and Sam Lake traces its roots back to 2010, when the original Alan Wake game featured POE's critically acclaimed, twisting and complex masterpiece, 'Haunted.' Much like the game itself, POE's ethereal track transcended the typical gaming experience, making both 'Haunted' and POE a fan favorite, and a cultural touchstone in their own right. The eerie cadence and unsettling orchestration was the perfect coda for the overall gameplay immersion.

The collaborative composition, "This Road (AW)", serves as the haunting endnote for each of the individual parts of Alan Wake's nightmare journey through the Dark Place in Alan Wake 2. The expansion pack "The Lake House" released in October 2024, mirrors POE's mysterious real life disappearance from public view, offering a chilling and cryptic explanation of her vanishing and enticing gamers to dig deeper into secret websites hidden in the game. POE's voice fittingly haunts the Lakehouse as "6 Deep Breaths" echoes through the bleek and brilliant gameplay of this expansion to Alan Wake 2.
