Looking Through The Shades (LP)
Glitterer

Looking Through the Shades is the debut full-length for Glitterer, the solo project of Ned Russin, bassist/vocalist of Title Fight. On his last two Glitterer EPs, Russin wrote, sang, and played all the instruments, but this time he has enlisted a little help, namely his brothers Ben (drums) and Alex (guitar), with production by Alex Giannascoli (aka Alex G.) and Arthur Rizk (Code Orange, Pissed Jeans). The team effort pays off; Looking Through the Shades manages the sometimes difficult feat of being both ultra catchy and ultra cool. It’s a brisk fusion of power pop meets punk meets post-punk that’s thoroughly addictive. This is rock ’n’ roll at its purest.
