Love Hallucination (LP)
Jessy Lanza
Amoeba Review
Some albums just make you feel good. Jessy Lanza infuses Love Hallucination with a revelrous sense of the beauty and joy of just being alive and in love. Glitched out opener "Don't Leave Me Now" features classic '80s/'90s drum machine rhythms with dreamy effects and a breathless, sultry atmosphere. "Midnight Ontario" has a mellow, garage feel with heavy bass and hypnotic, lightly melancholic vocals. The bouncy melodies and dreamy vocals of "Limbo" add another dimension to the lyrical tension. Love Hallucination is an album to celebrate.
