The first in a proposed trilogy of albums honoring artists that are his "musical heroes," Ronnie Wood releases Mad Lad: A Live Tribute to Chuck Berry. Recorded in 2018, Mad Lad is comprised of songs made famous by Mr. Berry in addition to one he covered as a b-side (Maceo Merriweather's "Worried Life Blues"). Not only does the album include a tribute tune written by Wood, he also painted the image that adorns its cover...a true labor of love to the artist and guitar pioneer.
