For its fifteenth anniversary, indie folk supergroup Monsters of Folk is reissuing their debut (and at the moment only) record. The Monsters of Folk Deluxe Edition features the 2009 album's original fifteen tracks, plus updated artwork and, most intriguingly, five unreleased studio tracks from 2012 that were intended for a second album that never came to fruition. Those tracks welcome a new "Monster" to the fold, Will Johnson, whose contributions work wonderfully alongside those of the original Monster crew, M. Ward, Conor Oberst, Jim James and Mike Mogis.
