Belarusian perfectors of the chilly post-punk sound (you can hear them in a meme gif about bats in a goth club) Molchat Doma oscillate from Joy Division/early Sisters of Mercy love letters like "Otveta Net" to more melodic synth delights like "Discoteque." The latter song may owe much to Depeche Mode, but like Drab Majesty, Molchat Doma inject their own sense of dark joy into these impeccable tracks. "Ne Smeshno" is downright creepy with its plodding bassline and wildly echoing vocals - just one of many highlights on Monument, a solid set of sophisticated, interesting darkwave.
