Music From Patch Cord Productions (CD)
Mort Garson
Amoeba Review
Music From Patch Cord Productions is a collection of rare and never-before-released music from electronic music pioneer Mort Garson. Movie themes and radio ads combine with alternate takes from his classic 1976 album Mother Earth's Plantasia for an exhilarating mixed bag of Moog magic. The moods range from brooding psychedelia ("Ode to an African Violet") to exuberant funk ("Dragonfly") to cheerful dancefloor magic ("Space Walker").
