Natural Magick (LP)
Kula Shaker
Amoeba Review
Kula Shaker's Natural Magick will take you on a ride. The cult Brit-poppers are back with their original lineup, their first time recording an album together since 1999. Natural Magick is an album that conjures up the era-specific magic of 1999 as much as 1969 — the band's distinctive blend of psych, garage, Britpop, and traditional Indian feels both rooted in history and ultra fresh. These tracks are layered, compelling rock 'n' rollers with unexpected country and southwestern influences, plus, of course, stunning Indian vocals. Totally groovy and very, very good.
