Nick Waterhouse
Amoeba Review

Nick Waterhouse is on a winning streak. Is there anything the effortlessly cool, nouveau soul crooner can’t do with panache and heart to spare? On his self-titled fourth album, Waterhouse trots out his ‘50s/‘60s style swagger, his melodies rich and luxurious, his voice honeyed and captivating. Yet there’s a bit of an edge to these tunes, a little Scott Walker thrown in with the Motown vibes. A gorgeous, glittering gem of throwback retro-soul, this lush collection of songs sounds like a future classic already.
