Pink Planet [Manufactured On Demand] (CD)
Pink Sweat$
Amoeba Review
It seems improbable that Pink Sweat$’ Pink Planet is a debut album. Pink Sweat$ pulls from jazz, gospel, and old school hip hop to create an incredibly charming, radio-friendly mix of standout tracks. Kehlani makes an appearance on the addictive “At My Worst,” which is definitely a high point on an album that’s all-killer, no-filler. The songwriting is so self-assured, the vision so unique, the collection of tracks so cohesive that Pink Planet seems destined for greatness. One of the most exciting debuts in recent memory and probably one of the best of the year.
