Pollen [Yellow Vinyl] (LP)
Tennis
Amoeba Review
Tennis continue their winning streak with Pollen. These swooning songs are blissfully bittersweet; the lyrical weight of the tracks gives welcome tension to the dreaminess of the band’s sound. According to the band, the album (and its title) are “about small things with big consequences,” and that’s exactly the vibe. The mood could shift in an instant, your heart could break within the span of a chord progression. Pollen is devastatingly lovely in the best possible way.
