Private Life [Colored Vinyl] (LP)
Tempers
Amoeba Review

Tempers continue to refine and perfect their moody, goth-tinged dynamic on the excellent new Private Life. Edgy, melancholy, and seductive, it’s a combination that duo pulls off with aplomb. The record features some danceable moments alongside more contemplative heartbreakers; the album pulls off its eclecticism seamlessly and subtly, moving effortlessly from one tone to the next. Let’s hope Private Life catapults Tempers into the upper reaches of the nouveau goth/synth echelon — because as this newest collection of songs proves, that’s exactly where they belong.
