Running With The Hurricane (CD)
Camp Cope
Amoeba Review
Australian trio Camp Cope sound poised to take over the world on their latest, Running with the Hurricane. The lyrics are bold and assured; more than a few people will probably find a personal anthem among these songs. The band pulls from country rock, ‘90s alt-rock, and modern indie to craft festival-ready rockers made for singing along at the top of your lungs. The backing vocals add a bittersweet, classic feel to the proceedings, while the themes of heartbreak, self-reliance, and misogyny will sound readily relatable to anyone. Immensely enjoyable, this one’s ready to become your favorite new album.
