Seeing Other People (CD)
Foxygen
Amoeba Review

Foxygen are back with perhaps their most mature and sincere sounding record to date, especially apparent in "Livin' a Lie," which features '70s sounding electronic keyboard, giving the vocals an analog and well worn backdrop to melancholic-ally croon. Album opener "Work" is a textural puzzle, full of electric drill sound effects and layered percussion, while still maintaining a genuinely catchy groove. "Face The Facts" could be a lost '70s TV theme gem, were it not for its off kilter meanderings and psychedelic freak outs.
