Sonic Mojo (CD)
Foghat
Amoeba Review
The legendary Foghat is back with Sonic Mojo, their first studio album since 2016's Under the Influence. Longtime fans of the band will dig this release; the music sounds like prime Foghat and could easily have been plumbed from the band's earliest days. With drummer Roger Earl at the helm and songs co-written by Kim Simmonds (Savoy Brown), Sonic Mojo is backed by an impeccable rock 'n' roll pedigree. The band also tackles covers from the likes of Willie Dixon, Howlin’ Wolf, and Chuck Berry, making for a brand new blues rock album that already sounds like a classic.
