Strange Disciple (LP)
Nation Of Language
Amoeba Review
The third album by Brooklyn’s Nation of Language is a wealth of darkly shimmering synth pop, helmed by the smooth vocals of frontman Ian Richard Devaney. Highlights like “Weak In Your Light” and “Sole Obsession” reveal strong influences of post-punk and New Wave, but hold their own as distinctive, well-written tunes. If you aren’t aware of this talented trio, it’s time to take a listen.
