Superbloom (LP)
Ra Ra Riot
Amoeba Review
08/04/2020
Ra Ra Riot teamed up with the talented Rostam Batmanglij (Vampire Weekend, Rostam) once again for the excellent, eclectic Superbloom. The band brings elements of psych and electronica to their infectious indie pop; even in the album’s more melancholy moments, there’s an undeniable pep that keeps this sweet little record chugging along. At times, the band pushes the envelope of their tried-and-tested sound, veering into futuristic electro and getting ambient, and the listening experience is all the richer for it. Fans will find lots to love in the gorgeous Superbloom.
