Tasjan! Tasjan! Tasjan! (LP)
Aaron Lee Tasjan
Amoeba Review
Eclectic singer/songwriter Aaron Lee Tasjan offers breezy, alt-country pop-rock on his new album. Opening track "Sunday Women" blends hooky power pop with lightly psychedelic indie rock in an appealing way. "Up All Night" has a light Tom Petty feel while "Computer of Love" is like a sunnier Wilco tune. One standout is "Feminine Walk," an ode to androgyny with an appropriately swaying rhythm, acoustic picking and warped guitar sounds in the chorus.
