The Rolling Stones’ Tattoo You gets a fancy 40th anniversary reissue complete with all the bells and whistles the multi-platinum album deserves. With several deluxe versions hitting stores, there’s a version for every level of fan, from completist to casual listener. Expect remastered version of classic tracks like “Waiting on a Friend” and “Start Me Up” by the legendary Stephen Marcussen. The artwork looks crisp and enticing, the rarities are worth many a listen, and the overall presentation gives this longtime favorite a new sheen that should keep this album in heavy rotation for years to come.

 

The Super Deluxe 5LP box set includes the newly remastered version of Tattoo You, Lost & Found: Rarities, and Still Life: Wembley Stadium 1982. Also included is a 124-page book featuring over 200 rare photos from recording sessions and their world tour, plus interviews with producer Chris Kimsey and photographer Hubert Kretzscmar. The package includes a special lenticular sleeve.
