Princess Goes To The Butterfly Museum is an interesting trio featuring actor Michael C. Hall, Peter Yanowitz (The Wildflowers), and Matthew Katz Bohen (Blondie). Their debut, Thanks For Coming, is an eclectic mix of '80s flavored electro-rock and synth pop. “Airhead” is a thrilling track made up of buzzy synths, Hall's impressively soaring voice and a euphoric chorus. “Ketamine” offers dark synths a la Stranger Things, and the Phantogram cover “Cruel World” alternates gentle verses with crushing drums and keys for the chorus. “Come Talk To Me” is a lighthearted danceclub track that shows off Hall's flawless falsetto. There's a lot to enjoy here from this highly talented trio.
