Amoeba Review

It’s good to have Liars back in all their menacing glory. Band mastermind Angus Andrew recorded this latest effort in Australia with avant-garde jazz drummer Laurence Pike and multi-instrumentalist Cameron Deyell. This was a brilliant move. There’s something about this combination of musicians that injects The Apple Drop with a sort of sparkling, seductive darkness. It’s a bad dream, sure, but one you definitely don’t wanna wake up from.
