The Car (CD)
Arctic Monkeys
Amoeba Review
On The Car, the Arctic Monkeys continue their sonic evolution into deeply romantic baroque rock. With their sweeping orchestral flourishes, moody melodies, and lounge pop cool, these tracks could easily serve as the soundtrack to some swingin’ ‘60s art film. The lead singles all possess that driving indie rock sound Arctic Monkeys know and love, just glammed up with a little extra dreaminess and lush arrangements. Think Burt Bacharach meets Bryan Ferry at an underground rock club and you’ll get a good sense of this imaginative, enchanting album’s vibe.

10/21/2022 I don't know how to say this without feeling like it's an understatement. But Arctic Monkeys really is the band of my life. I'm so grateful, honestly, SO grateful to have grown and lived (I still am tho) in the same timeline as this band. These guys have created their own sound and universe each time, flawlessly. Absolute geniuses. https://ssa-office.com/
